At store 248-238 in Mexia, TX we performed a remodel on the existing interior and exterior of the store, as well as implemented a new grocery online pick up 2.0 parking lot/area. This includes relocating the dressing rooms and electronics areas on the sales floor. Painting all interior walls and rooms. Replacing all floor and wall tile in the restrooms, along with updating all fixtures and lighting. Demolishing and installing new exterior sidewalks. Replacing exterior signage with Walmart’s most updated “Spark” signage. Adding a Mother’s Room at the rear of the store. Installing a new pickup storage area in Customer Service. Rearranging all front-end registers for new sales floor layout. Performing modular remodel on existing pharmacy. Painting, replacing ceiling tile/grid, and installing new tables, lighting and fixtures in the Associate Breakroom and back offices. Adding new refrigerated cases in the Grocery area. We remodeled the AP Office to include new laminate, fixtures, and a new mini split AC unit. A new flagpole was installed on the roof at the front of the building. Covering all metal parking lot bollards with new plastic sleeves for a sleeker look. Replacing all damaged supply/return grilles throughout the store. Removing and replacing the French drain system located in the Garden Center. Relocating online grocery pickup operations to the GM side of the building while new OGP area was being constructed. Remove 177 LF of curb and gutter at OPD area. Addition of several concrete islands, curbs, gutters, light poles, signage, and parking spaces for new OPD area. We lowered the existing 8” – 160 LF stretch of water line in this area to grade by using 45- degree bends and made (2) connections to existing line. We installed new crosswalks and updated striping throughout the entire Walmart property.
