Built to Serve More Than Projects.

On Wednesday, April 15, the JRJ Construction team laced up their boots to serve alongside Trinity Habitat for Humanity during a community Build Day. What started as a day of construction quickly became something more—an opportunity to serve others, strengthen relationships, and revisit the roots that first introduced many of our team members to construction.

JRJ Construction has proudly supported Trinity Habitat and its mission to provide safe, affordable housing opportunities for families throughout the community. Through volunteer labor, partnerships, and practical support, Trinity Habitat helps individuals and families build places they can truly call home.

For many on our team, this project carried a personal connection. Some of the future homeowners are people our employees know through schools, churches, and local relationships, making the opportunity to serve even more meaningful.

The focus of this particular Build Day was truss installation—one of the most critical stages of framing a home. Proper truss placement requires precision, experience, and teamwork, as even small errors early on can impact the entire structure. Fortunately, many members of the JRJ team grew up framing homes or began their careers in residential construction, making the day both familiar and rewarding.

As the trusses went up, stories and memories from earlier days in construction naturally followed. For several team members, the experience became more than volunteer work—it was a reminder of where they started and the skills that helped shape their careers.

In 2025, JRJ Construction was honored with Trinity Habitat’s “Habititus” Award, recognizing the company for stepping forward to take on the most challenging and skill-intensive volunteer build day: Truss Day. The recognition reflects the willingness of our team to serve where their experience can make the greatest impact.

By the end of the day, the entire truss installation had been completed—something the build coordinator shared had never been accomplished in a single day on one of their projects before.

We are grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside Trinity Habitat for Humanity and look forward to continuing to invest in the communities we call home.

Parker County Chamber of Commerce Names JRJ Construction as 2026 Large Business of The Year

On Thursday, February 26, the Parker County Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual awards gala, where JRJ Construction was honored as the 2026 Large Business of the Year. We are grateful for this recognition and thankful to be part of a chamber that serves, supports, and connects businesses throughout Parker County so well.

JRJ Construction has been an active member of the Parker County Chamber of Commerce through board leadership, committee involvement, chamber ambassadorship, and community partnerships. Our team’s involvement reflects our commitment to Leaving a Legacy Beyond Construction by investing in relationships, supporting local businesses, and serving alongside others throughout the community.

While the company has experienced tremendous growth over the past several years, JRJ remains committed to staying rooted in the values and faith that have guided the company from the very beginning. Over the last year alone, JRJ Construction has nearly doubled in size in both employees and projects. Today, JRJ proudly employs more than 200 team members and continues to expand its reach through projects across multiple states and sectors.

During the acceptance speech, Adam Feriend, Owner and Chief Operating Officer, reflected on the company’s growth and the people who have helped shape JRJ into what it is today.

Feriend also spoke about the importance of trusting God through every season of business, sharing how JRJ has experienced both growth and hardship over the years while continuing to keep faith at the center of the company.

Jordan Jones, Owner and Chief Administrative Officer, followed by speaking about the future growth of Parker County and the responsibility business leaders have in shaping the culture of the community moving forward.

Jones encouraged those in attendance to remain intentional as Parker County continues to grow over the next several years, challenging leaders to keep God at the center of their businesses, relationships, and daily lives so the values and culture that make Parker County special are not lost in the process of growth.

JRJ Construction is honored by this recognition and grateful for the relationships, partnerships, and opportunities that continue to shape both the company and the communities it serves. We remain committed to serving with integrity, leading with purpose, and continuing to invest in the people and places that make Parker County home.

2025 Team Player of The Year

In November 2025, JRJ Construction was honored as Dollar General’s 2025 Team Player of the Year during the company’s annual summit. The recognition reflects JRJ’s continued commitment to partnership, consistency, and high-level execution across Dollar General remodel and upgrade projects nationwide.

JRJ Construction began working with Dollar General in 2023, initially performing small-scale remodel projects across select locations. Over time, the relationship steadily expanded as JRJ continued delivering quality work across multiple markets. By 2025, JRJ was managing nearly 400 Dollar General store remodels and upgrade projects throughout the United States.

A major contributor to the success of the program has been Carla Ray, who serves as Project Coordinator for the Dollar General account. Through her organization, communication, and attention to detail, Carly has played a key role in coordinating projects and maintaining strong relationships across teams and stores nationwide.

As JRJ’s reputation and performance have continued to grow, the scope and volume of projects awarded to the company have increased significantly. JRJ is currently managing nearly three times the project volume typically assigned to a single general contractor within the program.

We are grateful for Carla’s leadership and dedication in helping drive the success of this partnership, as well as the continued trust and relationship built with Dollar General teams across the country.

On Thursday, April 30, the JRJ Construction team volunteered at Center of Hope, serving lunch to individuals and families throughout the community. This quarterly opportunity has become a meaningful way for our team to invest in Parker County through simple acts of service and connection.

Center of Hope is more than a place for a hot meal—it is an organization committed to helping people rebuild stability and independence. Through programs focused on Crisis Assistance, Career Development, and Adult Education, their team works to address immediate needs while equipping individuals with tools and opportunities for long-term success.

JRJ Construction has supported Center of Hope for many years through both volunteer involvement and project partnerships. Adam Feriend, JRJ’s Chief Operating Officer, currently serves as Chairman of the Board, helping support initiatives focused on the organization’s continued growth and impact throughout the community. JRJ also served as the general contractor for the renovation of the facility Center of Hope operates from today.

One of the favorite parts of these volunteer days is simply sharing a meal and spending time with the people who walk through the doors. This particular lunch featured Chick-fil-A, which has become a highly anticipated menu item among many of the guests. For some, it may even be their first opportunity to enjoy something many people often take for granted.

While the meal itself is simple, the conversations and relationships built throughout the day often leave the greatest impact.

JRJ Construction is grateful for opportunities like these and looks forward to continuing to support organizations that are making a lasting difference in Parker County.

In May 2026, JRJ Construction was honored to be recognized by the Mineral Wells Chamber of Commerce as Business of the Month for our continued partnership, community involvement, and support of local projects and events throughout Mineral Wells.

Since joining the Mineral Wells Chamber in 2023, the JRJ team has intentionally invested in building strong relationships within the community. Through involvement in chamber events, local initiatives, leadership programs, and ongoing partnerships, our team has had the opportunity to support the city’s continued growth and revitalization efforts.

JRJ has remained actively involved in several annual chamber and downtown events, including the Chamber Ambassador Golf Scramble, the annual Chamber Gala, the annual State of the Community event, the Mineral Wells Pig Festival, and the city’s Christmas celebration events. JRJ is also proud to support the Mineral Wells ISD annual Teacher Breakfast as a sponsor, helping recognize and encourage the educators who invest daily in the next generation.

As part of this involvement, JRJ Director of Business Development, Sumner Haye, participated in Leadership Class 29, where local leaders spent nine months learning about the community’s civic leadership, education system, nonprofit organizations, and local businesses. During the program, the class collectively contributed more than 1,000 volunteer hours and raised over $6,000 to support nonprofits throughout the area. Team members have also served through organizations such as the Chamber’s Technology Industry Council, helping strengthen collaboration and growth within the local business community.

JRJ is also proud to support several active projects within the community. The team is currently managing the full renovation of Cornerstone Daycare, helping create a safe and engaging environment for the children and families it serves. In addition, JRJ is working on the historical restoration of the former Mineral Wells Post Office, which is being redeveloped into a high-end steakhouse near the historic Baker Hotel redevelopment project.

The JRJ team is also currently constructing a new hangar addition at the Mineral Wells Airport, contributing to the continued growth and enhancement of the airport and surrounding area.

Mineral Wells is a community driven by growth, investment, and revitalization, and JRJ Construction is grateful for the relationships built there over the years. We look forward to continuing to support the people, businesses, and projects helping shape the future of this vibrant community.
