The Marion County Courthouse in Jefferson, originally constructed in 1912 and designed by architect Elmore George Withers, underwent a full interior and minor exterior historic restoration led by JRJ Construction in partnership with Komatsu, Inc.. The restoration focused on preserving the courthouse’s historic detailing while modernizing essential infrastructure systems to support continued public use.

The project included extensive masonry restoration, refinishing and restoration of historic wood doors and hardware, plaster repair and restoration throughout the building, and upgrades to the building’s mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Through careful coordination and historically accurate restoration techniques, JRJ Construction helped preserve one of East Texas’ significant historic civic landmarks while improving long-term functionality and durability for the county.
